FAQ's

Is this trip really worth the investment?

Every pilgrimage is carefully designed to provide deep spiritual experiences at sacred sites, not rushed tourist stops. You'll have quality time at each location, stay in centrally-located boutique hotels, and travel with a faith-filled community. Our pricing is actually more competitive than many pilgrimage companies while maintaining the same quality of accommodations and experiences—we just keep our operations lean to pass savings to you. Past pilgrims consistently describe these journeys as transformative experiences that strengthen both their personal faith and parish bonds.

What if I'm traveling alone?

Many of our pilgrims travel solo. If you would like to be paired with a roomate of the same sex, we'll coordinate this for when possible. If you prefer your own space, a single occupancy option is available at an additional fee. Either way, you'll be traveling with a community of fellow Catholics.

I've never traveled internationally before. Will I be able to handle this?

For many of our pilgrims, this is also their first time leaving the country! We handle all the complex logistics—flights, hotels, transportation, guides, and meals are included. You'll receive detailed information well before departure, including practical guidance for international travel. Our team is available to answer any questions, from passport requirements to voltage adapters for medical devices.

What if something unexpected happens and I need to cancel?

Please see our full cancellation policy on the Itinerary and Q&A. We strongly recommend travel insurance for exactly this reason. Insurance protects your investment if medical issues, family emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances arise. Peregrino does not sell travel insurance, but we offer recommendations on our website from companies other pilgrims have used successfully.

How do I know this won't be too physically demanding?

While there is walking involved at sacred sites, we maintain a reasonable pace and build in rest time. If you have specific mobility concerns, let us know at registration. Pilgrims who need support must travel with a companion who can provide assistance.

Can my family reach me if there's an emergency back home?

Absolutely. You'll have your phone with you, and we provide complete hotel and itinerary information you can share with family members before departure. We also maintain contact information for emergencies.

What if I have dietary restrictions or medical needs?

Simply inform us at registration. We work with hotels and restaurants to accommodate dietary requirements and can provide guidance for medical device needs like CPAP machines, wheelchairs, scooters or medications requiring refrigeration.

What is your cancellation policy?

Upon registration, your flights, hotels, and other accomodations will be purchased on your behalf. If you cancel before January 31, 2026, you'll receive a refund of your payment minus a $750 non-refundable fee (this $750 can be transferred to another person taking your place on the same tour). As of February 1, 2026, 100% of the tour price becomes non-refundable and non-transferable. This is why we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance shortly after registration to protect your investment.
